Note – 1: To cover death in service cases rates of pension has been indicated from 1/2 years of service upto Colonel rank and from 20 years of service for Brigadier and above ranks though such cases may not occur in reality in higher ranks.

Retiring/family pension of Lt Col(TS) and Lt Col(S) is not based on reasonable classification. Retiring/family pension of Col(TS) are less than that of Col(S) but it is not the case of time scale Lt Col and selection grade Lt Col. This unreasonable classification is unconstitutional and this anomaly must be removed immediately.

The arrears table 19 shows Rs 20859 for full QS.Is it pm ? Better if total amount of arrears would have been given
