Subject :- Permission /Approval for reimbursement of cost of Neuro-implants, viz., Deep Brain Stimulation implants, Intra-thecal Baclofen Pump, Intra-thecal Morphine Pump and Spinal Cord stimulators for CGHS/CS(MA) beneficiaries
The undersigned is directed to draw attention to the O.M.No.12011/2005/CGHS (R&H)/CGHS (P) dated 04.12.2008 vide which the rates and guidelines for permission/approval for reimbursement of cost of Neuro-implants, viz., Deep Brain Stimulation implants, Intra-thecal Baclofen Pump, Intra-thecal Morphine Pump and Spinal cord Stimulators for CGHS/CS (MA) beneficiaries were notified and to convey the approval of the competent authority to allow reimbursement of cost of the above mentioned neuro-implants under CGHS/CS (MA) Rules at the same ceiling rates and guidelines/conditions as mentioned in the above referenced OM dated 04.12.2008 for a further period of two years from the date of issue of this OM or till the rates are revised whichever is earlier.
2. This office Memorandum is issued with concurrence of integrated Finance Division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare vide Dy.No.96834 dated 11.11.2014.
