Sub : Grant of Interim Relief to the State Government Employees and others with effect from 1st July,2016.
The Governor has been pleased to decide that the wholetime regular State Government employees and such employees of Government sponsored or aided educational institutions, local bodies, statutory bodies, boards, corporations, undertakings etc. covered under Finance Department Resolution No.8071-F(P) dt. 27.11.2015 shall draw Interim Relief @ 10% of the Band Pay w.e.f. 01.07.2016 pending implementation of the recommendation of the 6th Pay Commission constituted under Finance Department Resolution No. 8070-F(P) dt. 27.11.2015.
The amount of Interim Relief will neither be termed as ‘Pay’ nor ‘Allownace’ nor ‘Wage’. Drawal of the same will be in the following manner.
a) Calculation will be on the Band Pay as on 01.07.2016 after allowing normal admissible increment.
b) The amount is to be shown as separate element as ‘Interim Relief’ and will remain fixed.
c) No dearness or any other allowances or cash compensation or encashment of leave or pay fixation or pension or gratuity etc. is admissible on the same.
d) There will be no change on account of fixation of pay due to increment or promotion or otherwise.
