Bonus to Non-Gazetted officers of Autonomous Institutions/ Organizations
The Indian government has decided to discontinue ad-hoc bonuses for employees of autonomous bodies funded by the central government, starting from the 2015-16 fiscal year. This applies to non-gazetted officers of Central Sanskrit University, Shri Lal Bahadur National Sanskrit University, National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, and other central universities. Will the Minister of EDUCATION be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government is not giving bonus to non-gazetted officers of some autonomous organisations/institutions like Central Sanskrit University, Shri Lal Bahadur National Sanskrit University, National Sanskriti University, Tirupati and other Central Universities since 2015-16;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Diwali bonus is not being distributed to the said non-gazetted officers of autonomous organizations/institutions due to financial implications;
(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor;
(e) whether the non-gazetted officers are likely to be paid interest on arrears of Diwali bonus from 2015-16; and
(f) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (f) A policy decision has been taken by Government of India for not extending the adhoc bonus to the employees of autonomous bodies, partly or fully funded by the Central Government for the accounting year 2015-16 and onwards. Accordingly, the Bonuses to Non-gazetted officers of Central Sanskrit University, Shri Lal Bahadur National Sanskrit University, National Sanskrit University, Tirupati and other Central Universities have not been granted since 2015-16.
