Subject: 30 days strike from 20.08.2019 to 19.09.2019 in the ordnance factories by the 82,000 employees against the decision of Govt. of India to corporatize the Ordnance Factories -reg.

This is with reference to your joint representation dated 25.07.2019 submitted to the Defence Minister over the issue of unilateral decision to corporatize the ordnance factories and consequent upon failure of negotiation decision taken by all the three federation jointly to go on strike for 30 days.

All the Regional Heads (Dy. CLCs and RLCs) of Ministry of Labour & Employment just after receiving the strike notice on 1.8.2019 intervened into the matter and proposed to hold joint discussion with the federations/ unions and the management of ordnance factories in order to have amicable resolution of the issue.

Now, the Chief Labour Commissioner(C) has decided to intervene into the matter and therefore proposed to hold a joint discussion on dated 21.08.2019 at 03.00 PM in Room No. 502, 5th Floor, Shram Shakti Bhawan, Rafi Marg, New Delhi.

You are advised to attend the joint discussion on the said date and time so that efforts could be made to resolve the issue.
