We have already forwarded you the copy of the Joint protest letter against Corporatization of Ordnance Factories addressed to the Defence Minister with copy endorsed to the Prime Minister, Finance Minister and Senior Officials of MoD. You are also aware that the Government of India and many states have extended the COVID 19 lock down period upto 31.05.2020.
In this situation we are happy to know that already in the factories the Joint Action Committees of the Trade Unions and Associations have started campaigning programmes by publishing pamphlets, posters etc., At present it has been decided that all the 82,000 employees should send a protest letter through e-mail on 21.05.2020 to the Prime Minister and Defence Minister rejecting the decision of the Government to Corporatize the Ordnance Factories. A model protest letter is enclosed herewith. All the Affiliated Unions may take printouts, take the signatures from the employees and collect it and forward the same to the PM and RM in the following e-mail.

The Affiliated Unions may inform their respective Federations about the completion of this task. We will keep you Inform about the further course of action programme. In factories wherever Joint Action Committees have not start functioning may immediately revive the same since relentless joint struggles have to be observed in the coming days.
