Sub: Proposal for Medical Insurance scheme for Railway employees
As your are aware, Indian Railways is already providing medical health facilities to its employees and their dependent family members through ” Railway Employees Liberalised Health Scheme” (RELHS) and “Central Government Health Services” (CGHS). IT is now, proposed to widen the scope of medical treatment of railway employees. Accordingly, a Committee has been constituted to examine all aspects relating to a ” Comprehensive health insurance scheme” for railway employees with a view to provide an insurance cover against financial risks during medical emergencies and otherwise.
It is, therefore, requested that your views/suggestions on the aforesaid proposal may please be furnished within two days i.e latest by 06.08.2020 on email id of Shri Deepal Peter Gabriel, EDE/IR – convenor of the committee (deepak.gabriel.irps@gamil.com) with CC to DE(W) (rajnimakkar11@gamil.com) and DDE(W)II (ashuteshgar343@gmail.com) so as to enable the said Committee to deliberate in the matter prior to its next meeting scheduled on 7.8.2020.
