Revision of Rule 6 of SAS Rules 2019: Restriction of number of chances to appear in SAS part I and Part Il Examination to be conducted on Computer Based Test

The Controller General of Defence Accounts has revised Rule 6 of the SAS Rules 2019, which pertains to the number of chances an individual may have to sit for the SAS Part I and Part II exams. Previously, there were no restrictions on the number of attempts allowed, but the new rule limits candidates to a maximum of four tries for each exam. The revision also clarifies that only those who pass SAS Part I may proceed to SAS Part II. This change may be granted additional chances on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the CGDA.
