Annual Health Check-up at Hospitals empanelled under CGHS in respect of CGHS Pensioner beneficiaries aged 75 years and above
The Office Memorandum dated 18.03.2024 from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, addresses the Annual Health Check-up for CGHS Pensioner beneficiaries aged 75 years and above. It highlights their entitlement to this service at CGHS empanelled Hospitals, subject to permission from the CMO of the respective CGHS Wellness Centre.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Annual Health Check-up at Hospitals empanelled under CGHS in respect of CGHS Pensioner beneficiaries aged 75 years and above regarding.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Ministry’s OM No. Z15025/36/2019/DIR/CGHS/CGHS(P) dated 19.08.2019 on the subject mentioned above regarding the entitlement of CGHS beneficiaries (Primary Card Holders) aged 75 years for Annual Health Check-up at CGHS empanelled Hospitals by obtaining the permission from the CMO incharge of CGHS Wellness Centre.
2.However, it is found that there are instances of complaints from Pensioners’ Associations against non-issuance of permission by the CGHS Wellness Centre for Annual Health Check-up to the CGHS beneficiaries.
3.In view of the above, all in charge of CGHS Wellness Centres across the country are hereby advised to adhere to the instructions contained in the ibid orders and directed to issue permission to the CGHS beneficiaries accordingly.
4.This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
