Opening of CGHS Wellness Centre-2 at Sector 29-C, Chandigarh and CGHS Wellness Centre-1 at Sector -16 Panchkula (Haryana)
The Office of Additional Director CGHS in Chandigarh has issued an office order regarding the opening of two new CGHS Wellness Centres. CGHS Wellness Centre-2 located at Sector 29-C, Chandigarh and CGHS Wellness Centre-1 at Sector-16, Panchkula in Haryana will commence operations from 9th June 2023.
Central Government pensioners residing within the 5-kilometer radius of the aforementioned wellness centres can apply for CGHS plastic cards by submitting online application forms available on the CGHS website. It is important to note that such pensioners will not be eligible for Fixed Medical Allowance as per CGHS guidelines.

It is informed to all the HOD/HOO/CGECC/CGPA that CGHS Wellness Centre-II at Sector 29-C, Chandigarh & CGHS W.C-I Sector-16, Panchkula (Haryana) will start functioning w.e.f. 09.06.2023. Central Government employees whose residence falls within the CGHS jurisdiction i.e area covered by radius of 5 K.M. from CGHS W.C-II, Sector 29-C of Chandigarh City & CGHS W.C-I, Sector-16, of Panchkula City are eligible for CGHS membership. The DDO should start deducting the CGHS subscription compulsorily for all such employees. The serving employees should process their application through their respective head of department after scrutiny of documents, for issue of CGHS card.
Central Govt. pensioners can apply for issue of CGHS plastic card by filing online application form as per the details available at CGHS website www.cghs.nic.in. The Central Government pensioners whose residence falls within the CGHS jurisdiction i.e area covered by radius of 5 K.M. from CGHS W.C-II, Sector 29-C of Chandigarh City & CGHS W.C-I, Sector-16, of Panchkula City will not be eligible for Fixed Medical Allowance as per CGHS guidelines.
