OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Inspection of Non-NABH/Non-NABL Health Care Organizations (HCOs) Provisionally empanelled under CGHS by Quality Council of India (QCI).
With reference to the above mentioned subject the undersigned is directed to convey the approval of competent authority for inspection of Non-NABH/Non-NABL Health Care Organizations (HCOs) Provisionally empanelled under CGHS by quality council of India(QCI) as per the application and inspection format appended and as per the following conditions:-
1. Non-NABH/Non-NABL Health Care Organizations (HCOs) provisionally empanelled under CGHS shall be inspected by QCI for compliance with the eligibility criteria and other conditions specified in the e-tender document 2014 and in MOA signed with CGHS.
2. Inspection Fee to be paid by HCOs to QCI

3. Time Frame
QCI will send the recommendations to CGHS preferably within 60 days and not later than 180 days from the receipt of application at NABH/QCI Office.
4. Other Details:-
- The application from the applicant hospitals/centres along with the relevant application fee will be received directly by QCI office.
- QCI will make recommendations in two categories in the following manner – Recommended for Continuation of CGHS empanelment/not recommended. QCI will display on its website nabh.co the recommendations pertaining to all applicant hospitals/centres which are provisionally empanelled with CGHS.
- The validity period of inspection would be two years from date of inspection, if recommended.
- Non-NABH /Non-NABL HCOs, which fail to get inspected/recommended by QCI for continuation of empanelment under CGHS within one year of their empanelment shall be liable to be removed from the panel of CGHS and 50% of their performance Bank Guarantees would be forfeited.
