Outstanding Dues of CGHS

Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) whether there are any outstanding dues of Private CGHS empanelled hospitals;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the corrective measures taken by the Government to clear the outstanding dues of the such private hospitals?
ANSWER
THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND
FAMILY WELFARE

(a) & (b): Yes. The total calculated amount pending for payment to hospitals is Rs.189 crores.
(c): Following corrective measures have been taken by the Government to clear the outstanding dues of such private hospitals:
(i) Funds are being recouped for payment.
(ii) Bill clearing agency has been asked to clear the payment expeditiously.
