OFFICE ORDER
Subject: Grant of CSD Canteen Facilities to Retired Defence Civilian employees.
In continuation of this Ministry’s office order of even No.dated 31st July 2015 on the above mentioned subject, the undersigned is directed to say that with the approval of Hon’ble RM, it has been decided that the family pensioners of retired Defnce Civilian Employees will also be eligible for extended CSD canteen Facilities.

Dear Publisher,
We are proud of your service. The existing CSD services are not upto the mark. There are a lot of deficiencies and discrepancies in the system. Providing extended CSD service facilities to the families of Retired Civilian Defence Employees is a welcome move and really a fantastic thought. But, while letting the new extended services, the existing “Retired Defence Personnel” are ignored. The serving defence personnel are somehow meet their requirements, but the fate of retired defence persons are at stake.
There seems the only CSD canteen to cater the requirement of the serving as well as retired personnel at Bhubaneswar at No.120 TA Battalion canteen which is not maintained properly. There is a JCO who needs a bit of education to deal with the personnel, specially about the fate of the retired personnel.
If the authorities provide additional canteen facilities other than the TA Battalion, it may be very much useful specially for the retired personnel.
