Subject: Payment of Uniform Allowance in cash in lieu of uniform to Group C&D employees of hospitals/clinics under OFB, MOD.
Respected Sir,
With due regards, it is brought to your kind notice that the O/o the Additional Director (MSD), Govt of India, New Delhi has issued instructions on dated 09.04.2015 (copy enclosed) that it has been decided to pay Uniform Allowance in cash in lieu of uniform to entitled Group C & erstwhile Group D employees staff except Nursing Staff.
The scale of payment is as under:

This issue with the concurrence of Integrated Finance Division, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare vide their diary No. C-2777 dated 27.03.2015.
It is worth to mention here that vide MOD ID No. 221/A/M/Part/243/US-II/D (Fy.II), Dated 03.04.2003 (copy enclosed) Paramedical Staff employed in Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factory Hospitals and Clinics have been authorized for free issue of Summer/Winter clothing uniforms.
Hence, it is requested to extend the benefit of payment of uniform allowance in cash in lieu of uniform to the Paramedical Staff employed in Ordnance Factories under Ministry of Defence
