OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: 18th Ordinary Meeting of the National council – Item relating to review of rules regarding leave travel concession.
The undersigned is directed to say that the staff side of the National Council (JCM) had suggested that leave Travel concession may be made available during the period of special casual leave also, as it is now admissible during casual leave. The suggestion made by the Staff Side has been considered in the meeting of the national council held on the 6th and 7th January, 1977 and it has been decided that the Leave Travel concession will be admissible for journeys performed by Government servants during special casual leave also. Ministry of Finance etc. May bring this decision to the notice of all government servants serving under their control.
2. In so far as persons serving in Indian Audit and Accounts Department are concerned, these orders issue in consultation with comptroller and auditor General.
