Subject: Recommendations of 6th Central Pay Commission relating to revision in the rates of Family Planning Allowance for adoption of small family norms for All India Services Officers.
Sir,
I am directed to forward herewith copy of the Office Memorandum No.7(20)/2008-E.III(A) dated 24th September,2008 issued by Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure regarding revision in the rates of Family Planning Allowance for adoption of small family norms following the recommendations of the 6th CPC to Central Government employees and to state that the matter regarding extension of these instructions to the All India Services officers had been under consideration in this Department.
It is conveyed that the instructions contained in the Department of Expenditure’s Office Memorandum dated 24.09.2008 shall also be applicable to the officers of the All India Services.
