Subject: Flexible Complementing Scheme for Scientists in Scientific Ministries / Departments/ Organizations – Revised composition of Departmental Peer Review Committee for promotion to the grades of Scientist “F”/ Scientist “G” in various scientific Ministries/Departments- Regarding.
The undersigned is directed to invite reference to this Department’s Office Memorandum No. AB.14017/31/2004-Estt (RR) dated 21st November, 2005 vide which the composition of the Departmental Peer Review Committee (DPRC) was constituted to screen the cases of officers in accordance with 19 the stipulation in this Department’s O.M. No. 2/41/97-PIC dated 9th November, 98.
2. The composition of DPRC as constituted vide OM dated 21.11.2005 has been reviewed and with the approval of the competent authority `E’ to the, the compo grade of sition of DPRC for considering promotion from the grade of Scientist Scientist ‘F’ is revised as under:
(a) Secretary of the administrative Ministry concerned ….. Chairman
(b) Two Secretaries of other Scientific Ministries/ Departments
or their representatives who are at least one level above the
post to which in-situ promotion under FCS/MFCS is to be made ….. Member
(c) Two eminent Scientist specializing in the field of Scientific
activity ….. Member
(d) Joint Secretary, DoPT ….. Member
