Dearness Allowance Hike to Jan 2015 may be 6%
The All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Works Department (CPI-IW) has been calculated for the past six months, (i.e. July, August, September, October, November, December 2014) as 246, 252, 253, 253, 253, 253 respectively and has been released in the www.laboutbureau.gov.in website.
Based on this, the Finance Department will calculate the Dearness Allowance for Central Government Employees and release it as a GO.
It is expected that the DA for the Central Government Employees for January 2015 will be increased by 6% and the previously paid DA of 107% will be given as 113%. The approval and GO to this effect will be released soon.
