Subject:- Revision of pension/family pension of pre 01.01.2016 pensioners/family pensioners of Haryana Government (7th CPC) w.e.f 01.01.2016 clarification thereof.
Sir/Madam,
I am directed to invite your kind attention to the Finance Department’s Office Memorandum No.2/23/2016-1 Pension Dated 10.01.2018 vide which it had been decided by the State Government to revise the pension/family pension in respect of all Haryana Government pensioners/family pensioners, who retired/died prior to 01.01.2016 with effect from 1st January, 2016 followed by clarification memoranda of even number dated 30.01.2018/01.02.2018, 11/22.10.2018, 07.12.2018, 31.01.2019, 27.05.2019, 19.02.2020, 10.07.2020, 24.07.2020 & 17.8.2021.
Sometime past, pre-30.11.2007 retirees have made a request to issue clarification for revision of their pension @, 50% of the minimum of the revised scale of pay/ level etc. in reference of OM No. 2/23/2016-1 Pension dated 10.1.2018 .
Now, after due consideration, it is clarified that:-
“Pension shall continue to be calculated @ 50% of the average emoluments in all cases of pre-30-11-2007 retirees and shall be subject to a minimum of Rs 9000/-p.m and maximum upto 50% ( Rs.112050/-) of the highest pay applicable in the State Government which is Rs 224100/-since 1.1.2016 but the full pension in no case, after completing maximum required qualifying service (that is 33 years), shall be less than 50% of the minimum of the revised scale of pay/ level introduced w.e.f. 1.1.2016 for the post last held by the Government employee at the time of retirement. However, such pension will be suitably reduced pro-rata, where the pensioner has less than minimum required service for full pension as per the rules applicable to the pensioner on the date of his superannuation/retirement and in no case it will be less than Rs. 9000/- p.m. The other terms and conditions of OM No. 2/23/2016-1 Pension dated 10.1.2018 remains unchanged.”
you are requested to revise the pension of pre-2016 pensioners as early as possible.
