Sub: Seeking Option/Preferences from successful candidates of Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination-2019 conducted by SSC, for allocation of cadres and divisions
The competent authority is pleased to inform you, that you have been selected and allocated to U.P. Postal Circle, for appointment as Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant cadre on the basis of Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination-2019 conducted by Staff Selection Commission.
2. The allocation of Cadres and Divisions/Units to the selected candidates in UP Circle will be done as per the following criteria-
(a) A candidate shall be allocated the cadre and division on the basis of her/his merit (rank) in CHSLE-2019, order of preference (option) subject to availability of vacancy in a Division by treating Circle as a whole, administrative convenience and public interest.
(b) Persons with disability (PWD) candidates irrespective of their ranks will be allocated Cadres and Divisions/Units in the manner indicated at (a) first, followed by Ex serviceman candidates.
(c) After allocation of Cadres and Divisions/Units to PWD candidates and Ex servicemen candidates as per (b) above, remaining candidates will be allocated Cadres and Divisions/Units in the manner mentioned in (a) above.
(d) A candidate who does not give any order of preference or is not allocated to any of the Division/Unit mentioned in the limited preferences, shall be allocated Cadres and Divisions/Units subject to availability of vacancy in the category she/he has been selected, after allocation has been done to all other candidates.
3. The details of Divisions/Units and Cadres are given in Annexure-I for your information, to enable you to decide the order of preference. The candidates who will not give their order of preference or indicate their preference only for a few cadre or only for a few Divisions/ Units will be at a disadvantage, as mentioned at para 2 (d) above; therefore, it is advised to give order of preference to all cadres as well as Divisions/Units. The details of cadres are as under-

4. You are, therefore required to indicate your preference of cadres as well as respective Divisions/Units for the cadre in Annezmre-II accordingly. Duly filled up and signed, scanned copy of Option Form (Annexure-11) alongwith the Attestation Form & other forms (Annexure-III) must be sent over e-Mail id pasachs1.2019.upftmail.con1 latest by 03.10.2022, failing which it would be presumedthat you have no preference for Cadre or Divisions/Units. Subject of the e-Mail should be ‘PA/ SA OPTION/PREFERENCE FORM-UP CIRCLE <Name of the candidate> & <Roll No.>’.
NOTE:CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO KEEP ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS SAFELY FOR VERIFICATION LATER ON AND NOT TO SEND ANY ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS BY POST.
5. Order of preferences received after 03.10.2022 will be taken into consideration only at the sole discretion of the Department of Posts.
