Sub: Merger of 33 Postal Dispensaries with CGHS and transfer of fund to CGHS -reg.

Sir/Madam,

I am directed to forward herewith a copy of letter of this Office of even no.dt.23-01-2019 (copy enclosed) w.r.t. MoH&FW’s O.M.No.F No.s.11011/1/2016-CGHS-III/EHE dt.07.01.2019 (copy enclosed) on the subject mentioned above and to say that the budget for the current financial year has already been allocated to the circles in connection with postal Dispensaries. Hence. Department of Posts has agreed to bear the expenditure for the remaining part of financial year prior to merger/takeover instead of transferring the allocated budget for Postal Dispensaries to the MoH&FW.

2. Circles/Regions may continue to run the dispensaries till end of financial year. In the meanwhile the Nodal Offices may be asked to liaise with CGHS so that formal takeover by CGHS w.e.f. 01.04.2019 is undertaken smoothly.

Sub: Merger of 33 Postal Dispensaries with CGHS and transfer of fund to CGHS – reg.

Sir,

I am directed to refer to your O.M.No.F No.S.11011/1/2016-CGHS-III/EHS dt. 07.01.2019 on the subject mentioned above and to say that the budget for the current financial year has already been allocated to the circles (subordinate offices) in connection with postal Dispensaries. Hence, Department of Posts agress to bear the expenditure for the remaining part of financial year prior to merger/takeover instead of transferring the allocated budget for postal Dispensaries to the MoH&FW.

2. In addition it is requested that all necessary formalities for takeover w.e.f. 01.04.2019 may be undertaken forthwith so that beneficiaries or doctors are not put of any difficulties.

This issues with the approval of competent authority.
