The Ministry of Communications, Department of Posts, Government of India has approved the name change of Mugalsarai Sub Division to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar Sub Division in Uttar Pradesh Circle. The Chief Postmaster General of Uttar Pradesh Circle has been requested to take necessary action to ensure that the name change is completed, including changes to name/display boards and systems. The approval was granted by the Competent Authority and conveyed by the Asst. Director General (Planning & RB).

The approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed for changing the on name of Mugalsarai Sub Division to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar Sub Division, Uttar Pradesh Circle.
2. ‘Uttar Pradesh Circle is requested to take further necessary action on the subject OS and ensure that name change of above Sub Division is completed in all respects including carrying out changes in name/display boards and changes in systems etc.
3. This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
