Sub: Compassionate Engagement to the dependents of deceased GDS – reg.
The chief postmaster General is pleased to grant engagement to the dependent family member of deceased GDS on compassionate grounds. The Committee on Compassionate Engagement met on 23.07.2018 to consider the application of a dependent family member of deceased GDS for the grant of engagement to GDS on compassionate grounds. The list of cases recommended by the CCE and approved for engagement as GDS is enclosed for information and further necessary action.
This may please be brought to the notice of all concerned immediately with suitable instructions to issue necessary orders after observing all the usual recruitment formalities required for the engagement as GDS like verification of educational Qualification with board authorities, community certificates and undertaking etc. Necessary Proof may be get from the candidates and kept on record, if there is any change in name/initial of the candidates with reference to the name mentioned in the mark sheet/educational qualification, if not obtained earlier.
a consolidated compliance report with date of joining of each candidate in the enclosed proforma may be sent to this office early.
