Winter & Summer Uniform Design for Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools in India
Kendriya Vidyalaya is a system of central government schools in India that have been established for the children of Indian government employees, including Defense and paramilitary personnel. The uniform for students attending Kendriya Vidyalaya schools is standardized across all schools in the system.
For boys, the uniform consists of a white shirt and navy blue trousers. The shirt should have a half-sleeve and a collar, and the trousers should be full-length. Shoes should be black and socks should be white. A belt, also in navy blue, is also required.
For girls, the uniform consists of a white salwar kameez, which is a traditional Indian garment consisting of a tunic top and loose pants. The salwar kameez should be full-length and should have a collar. Girls are also required to wear a navy blue dupatta, which is a long scarf that is worn over the head and shoulders. Shoes should be black and socks should be white.
Both boys and girls are required to wear a navy blue sweater or blazer in the colder months. They are also required to wear a school tie, which is navy blue with a thin red stripe. The school emblem should be worn on the left side of the chest.
