Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2019 will be started in the month of February. Students can check the KVS Admission Procedure for Class I and Class II-VIII. Kendriya Vidyalaya Online Admission – How to Get Admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya

Online Registration for Kendriya Vidyalaya School Admission to Class I for the Academic Year 2019 – 20 will commence from 1st week of March 2019 and for Class II and above available from 1st Week of April 2019. The KVS Admission 2019 – 20 details can be obtained at https://www.kvadmissiononline2018.in Registration for Class II and above except Class XI do only if Vacancies have existed.

For Kendriya Vidyalaya Online Admission 2019 Class XI, the application forms issue immediately after the 10th Class result declaration, subject to availability of Vacancies in the Kendriya Vidyalayas. Reservation of seats as per KVS Admission 2019 – 20 Guidelines available on the website (www.kvsangathan.nic.in). KVS Admission 2019 Eligibility – Age Criteria

There is no certain minimum and maximum age limit for KV Admission in Class XI and XII.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Online Process for All Classes

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2019 – 20 For Class I

Out of the available seats of KVS Fresh Admission 2019, 15% will be reserved for SC and 7.5 % will be reserved for ST candidates.

There will be two phases for the Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2019 for 1st class.

The shortfall in the Admission seats reserved for ST/ ST students, if any shall be made good by admitting SC/ ST candidates.

Neighborhood and Proof Of Residence

Proof of residence have to be produced by all eligible candidates.

However, due to the non-submission of residence proof, the KVS Online Admission cannot be denied.

A self-declaration in writing from the parent about distance may also be accepted to this effect.

To monitor a system of Draw of Lots to be held in Class I, every Kendriya Vidyalaya will constitute a committee.

The same would be done in any other class wherever such stage is reached when all candidates of a particular category or having same number of transfers cannot be accommodated against the available number of seats.

KVS Admission 2019 – 20 Online for Class II to Class VIII:-

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Test shall not be conducted for Admission to Class II-VIII.

The Admission in KVS Online may be granted based on the category priority System (1 to 5 or 6 as the case may be).

It follows the lottery system in each category including single girl child quota. (Class VI Onwards), in case applications are more than the no of seats.

Kendriya Vidyalaya 2019 Admission for Class IX:-

The Authority will conduct the Kendriya Vidyalaya School Admission 2019 – 20 for 9th Class Admission.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Online shall be granted in the sequence of priority categories, in the order of merit.

For KVS Admission Online to Class IX, an admission test shall be conducted and a merit list prepared for each category student of priority separately.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Test will be conducted in the subjects of Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science & Science.

Total Admission Test Duration is 3 Hours and consists of only one paper.

Question Paper comprises of 100 marks. Each subject is comprising 20 marks.

Candidates should obtain 33% marks in aggregate to qualify. 5% age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ ST/ PH candidates.

KVS Online Admission for Class XI:-

Kendriya Vidyalaya School 2019 Admission to Class XII in streams of Humanities, Commerce and Science will be on the basis of merit list

Kendriya Vidyalaya Students: Admission in various stream viz Science, Humanities, Commerce of Class XI in

Kendriya Vidyalayas will be based on the CGPA scores in Class X Examination as Under

  • Commerce Stream: Minimum 6.4 CGPA
  • Science Stream: Minimum 7.6 CGPA
  • Humanities Stream: All students of KVS if declared successful.

In the case of two/ more candidates obtaining equal marks, the Inter-SE Merit of such candidates may be determined as follows

Students securing higher grade points in Maths will get precedence in KVS Admission 2019.

If two/ more candidates have got the same grade points in Maths, then the candidates securing higher grades in Maths & Science taken together will get precedence over the others.

In case of a tie between two candidates obtaining same grade points in Maths & Science taken together, the students older in age as per the Date of Birth will be given precedence over the other.

For KVS Admission Online Class 10 & 12

For Admission to class 10 & 12 in Kendriya Vidyalaya other than KV students will be entertained subject to availability of vacancies. Only if the average strength in class 10 or 12 is below 40, the Deputy Commissioner of the Region concerned KVs will consider such admission to class 10 & 12.

This may subject to change according to the following conditions:

For class 10, the candidate must have obtained not less than 55% aggregate in 9th class.

For class 12, the candidate must have obtained not less than 55% marks in class 11 examination.

The candidate has been in the same course of studies that is in a CBSE affiliated school.

The combination of subjects opted by the candidates should be available in Kendriya Vidyalayas.

Priorities will be Given for Admission KVS 2019 – 20

Check the Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2019 – 20 category wise priorities.

Category-I:

Children of foreign national officials, who come on deputation/ transfer to India on invitation by Govt. of India.
Children of transferable and non-transferable central government employees.Children of ex-servicemen.

Category-II:

Children of transferable and non-transferable employees of Autonomous Bodies/ Institute of Higher Learning/ Public Sector Undertaking of the Government of India.

Category-III:

Children of transferable as well as non-transferable State Government employees.

Category-IV:

Same as category II candidates

Category-V:

Children from any other category including the foreign nationals children who located in India due to their work/ for any personal reasons.

Only in case, there are no Indian Nationals for KVS Admission 2019, then the Children of Foreign Nationals would be considered.

Documents to be Attached to the KVS Registration Form

For 1st Class Admission, certificate of age proof in the form of a birth certificate issued by the competent authority.

For other classes Admissions, the date of birth recorded in the transfer certificate (TC) issued by a school recognized by the State Education Department would be accepted. The original Date of Birth certificate should be returned to your parent after completion of verification process.

KVS Admissions up to Class -VIII have to provide the Date of Birth/ Transfer Certificate.

Children belonging to SC/ OBC/ ST/ EWS/ and BPL category students need to submit a certificate issued by a state or union govt.

Grand Children of the Honorable Members of Parliament KVS Employees and PSU Employees should produce the certificate of relationship.

In case of children whose parents have been transferred a service certificate showing the number of transfers in the last seven years, duly stamped by the Head office with name designation and other relevant particulars in bold letters should be produced.

Handicapped or physically disabled students are required to produce a certificate from a civil surgeon/ rehabilitation centre.

A certificate of retirement for the uniformed Defence employees.

A certificate of retirement for the uniformed Defense personnel.

Residence Proof.

Reservations in Kendriya Vidyalaya School Admission 2019

3% for Differently Abled Candidates.

7.5% for Scheduled Tribe Candidates.

15% for Scheduled Caste candidates.

25% for student belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections of society (EWS).
