Sub: Instructions on exemption from passing the Typewriting Test on Computer in respect of LDCs-reg.
Federation encloses a copy Of OM F. No. 10420/1/2014-Estt. (D) dated 22 April 2015 issued by the DoP&T of Personnel & Training on the subject for information and guidance of all the ministries/departments.
In this connection, NFIR desires to state that there are cases of Jr. Clerks in GP 1900/- on the IR system who have not been able to pass the Typewriting Test. These cases are fully covered for granting exemption in terms of the above-mentioned instructions of DoP&T.
NFIR, therefore, requests the Railway Board to issue correspondirlg instructions to the Zones/PUs on the Indian Railways for regularization of serving railway employees as clerks wherever not done so far. A copy of the instructions issued may be endorsed to the Federation.
