Sub: Non-grant of revised pension (7th CPC) to Pre-2016 retirees-reg.
Ref: NFIR’s letter No.II/35/2018 dated 08-09-2018 and 16-11-2018 to the secretary (E), Railway Board.
While enclosing copies of Federation’s letters dated 08-09-2018 and 16-11-2018 it is again brought to the notice of Railway Board that the retired Loco Inspectors continued to complain that their notional pay plus 30% thereon has not been correctly calculated for revising the pension despite representations by them.
It is also learnt that the problems brought to Railway Board’s notice by South Central Railway and Western Railway have also not yet been addressed, consequently pre-2016 retired Loco Inspectors have been continuously representing against incorrect notional pay calculation and pension revision. In this connection, a copy of letter dated January,2019 received from shri S.Masthan Shariff, Retired Senior Loco Inspector, South Central Railway (Guntakal Division) is also enclosed.
NFIR requests the Railway Board to kindly expedite action for quick rectification.
