The rule /regulation applied for calculation of Pension of Lt Col/Col should applied for calculation of pension MAJORS also.It is not understood that why the pension of MAJORS has been stagnated at 22 years of service.Somebody said it is due to that no more retirement in the Rank of MAJOR.But then there is no more retirement in the rank of Lt Col (on superannuation) also.Because every officer will be Col at 26 years of service.Why this type of step-motherly behave with the rank of MAJOR only.
