Hony Capt KL Saini says
OROP has not been formulated as per length of service but only formulated on the basis of rank at the time of retirement. For example a Sub who put 28-30 years of service awarded Hony Lt has been granted same OROP as a Sub Maj who put four years hard service and length of service is more than 31-34 years. On awarding them to Hony Lt, the OROP is the same. How it can be called as OROP. Please clarify.
