PDA is making payment of pension, based on corrigendum PPOs issued for implementing COURT JUDGMENTS like Havildar granted Honorary Naib Subedar, Group change etc. which is higher than the pension amount indicated in the Sangam PPO.

If Sangam Corrigendum PPO is found to be for a Rank or a Group lower than the Rank or a Group for which court order has already been implemented, such Sangam PPO should not be acted upon. Instead, please forward the necessary information as prescribed in Annexure-1 duly endorsed by PDA, to PCDA(P) Allahabad for checking and issued of corrigendum PPO.

Territorial Army cases have been revised treating as a regular army pensioner.

Such Sangam PPOs should not be acted upon. Instead, please forward the necessary information as prescribed in Annexure-1 duly endorsed by PDA, to PCDA(P) Allahabad for issuance of corrigendum PPO.

Reservist pension notified as a Sepoy or notified more than Rs.3500/- Pm wef 01.01.2006 or 01.07.2009 or 24.09.2012

Such Sangam PPOs should not be acted upon. Instead, please forward the necessary information as prescribed in Annexure-1 duly endorsed by PDA, to PCDA(P) Allahabad for checking and issue of corrigendum PPO.

Pension notified is LESS than being PAID by the PDA on the basis of earlier Corr PPOs notified at higher rate.

Compare Rank, Group, and Qualifying service from your record and that mentioned in the Sangam PPO. If there is a difference, such Sangam PPO should not be acted upon. Instead, please forward the necessary information as prescribed in Annexure-1 duly endorsed by PDA, to PCDA(P) Allahabad for checking and issue of corrigendum PPO.

Pension notified is More than being PAID by the PDA on the basis of earlier Corr PPOs notified at lower rate.

If Rank/Group Qualifying service indicated in the Sangam PPOs is higher than that in record of the PDA, then Sangam PPO should be acted upon & higher amount notified may be paid. PDA should also complete Annexure-1 indicating pensioner’s particulars as is entered in their record and forward it to PCDA(P) for re-verification.

DSC Cases:

Pension notified in the Sangam PPO is LESS than being PAID by the PDA.

If the Rank, Group, and Qualifying service as available in PDA record and that mentioned in the Sangam PPO are same then Sangam PPO should be acted upon, and the Pension amount should be adjusted on the lower side accordingly and overpayment of pension may be recovered.

DSC Cases:

Pension notified in the Sangam PPO in More than being PAID by the PDA.

If Rank/Group/Qualifying service indicated in the Sangam PPOs, is higher than that in record of the PDA, then, Sangam PPO should be acted upon & higher amount notified may be paid. However, PDA should complete Annexure-1 indicating pensioner’s particulars as it entered in their record and forward it to PCDA (P) for re-vertification.

Disability Element is not notified in the Sangam PPO.

Payment of the same should be made according to the PPO issued separately, in which Disability Element is notified or on the basis of circulars issued in the matter.

War Injury pension (WIP):

PPO for WIP has been issued under series “D/BC/..”and “S/..” series PPO issued earlier in the case has been mentioned therein as held in abeyance. However, Sangam PPO has been issued w.r.t. said “s/–“series PPO.

In such cases Sangam PPO may not be acted upon and reference may be made as per Annexure-1 to this office for examining the case.

What action is to be taken on Corrigendum PPOs (Issued subsequent to Sangam PPOs) for Borad-Banding (i.e. rounding – off benefit) in case of pensioners who are invalided out?

Such PPOs may be acted upon and pension payable on account of disability element may be paid.

Special Family pension (SFP)/Liberalized Family Pension (LFP) cases:

Pension notified in the Sangam PPO differs from that being PAID by the PDA on the basis of Original PPO/ Corr PPO issued earlier.

Compare Rank, Group, Qualifying service and division percentage (where applicable) from your record and mentioned in PPO. If no variation is found, act upon the PPO. If variation is found, Sangam PPO should not be acted upon. Instead, forward the necessary information as prescribed in Annexure-1 duly endorsed by PDA, to PCDA (P) Allahabad for checking and issue of corrigendum PPO.

Enhanced rate of Ordinary Family pension is payable for 10 years in death during service cases subject to condition that the same was payable on or after 01.01.2006.

In case of sangam PPO notified accordingly, the payment of Enhanced Family pension should be continued till applicability, as per Sangam PPO.

If the period of enhanced rate of family pension is already revised through Corr PPO but not revision in Sangam PPO, payment may be made as per Corr PPO and the case may be referred to this office in prescribed format of Annexure-I

Ex-Gratia Amount Payable @ Rs.600/- or Rs.605/-, revised through Sangam PPO.

Corrigendum PPOs revision the original pension is received after the year 2010 and revision of pension as per 6^th CPC mismatches with sangam project PPO.

Where Group or Qualifying service is blank, in the case of PBORs.

Implement the Sangam PPO if the amount notified is more than that being paid. Else, such PPO should not be acted upon. Instead, forward the necessary information as prescribed in Annexure-1 duly endorsed by PDA, to PCDA(P) Allahabad for checking and issued of corrigendum PPO.

Additional pension shall be paid as per DOB/age in the original/subsequent PPO.

NC(E) Rank cases.

Such Sangam PPO should not be acted upon. Instead, forward the necessary information as prescribed in Annexure-1 duly endorsed by PDA, to PCDA(P) Allahabad for cancellation and issue of corrigendum PPO.

Post 2006 cases

Such sangam PPO should not be acted upon. However, return the PPO to The OI/C, Sangam Cell, O/o the PCDA(P), Allahabad for cancellation and record.

Where Qualifying service is abruptly high or low than the actual Qualifying Service

Such PPO should no be acted upon. Instead, forward the necessary information as prescribed in Annexure-1 duly endorsed by PDA, to PCDA(P) Allahabad for checking and issue of corrigendum PPO.

Act upon the Sangam PPO, if basic particulars are correct.
