Attention Officers promoted during 01 Jan 2016 to 25 Feb 2019: Last date for receipt of Option for pay fixation on promotion is 25 Aug 2019.
Reference this Office web message on “Exercise of Option on Promotion: 7th CPC regarding”. All Officers promoted during the period 01 Jan 2016 to 25 Feb 2019 have been allowed to exercise their option either from the date of promotion or from the date of next increment vide MoD letter No. 1(20)/2017/D(Pay/Services) dated 26/02/2019. This option can be exercised within six months from the date of issue of the said MoD letter dated 26 Feb 2019 i.e. upto 25 Aug 2019.
2. All Officers who want to exercise their option may submit the same now. They can forward a scanned copy to this Office through email on generalquery-pcdaopune@nic.in latest by 25 Aug 2019. Hardcopy of the option letter being forwarded through email may also please be sent to this Office through post.
3. To facilitate the officers in deciding correct option, an “Option Calculator” is also available on PCDA(O) website.
4. Option for pay fixation on promotion once exercised is final.
