Great relief for pre 2006 Retirees
At last, Government has issued order to give parity between pre and post 2006 retirees. In fixation of their pension w.e.f. 1-1-2006 onwards.[OM No.38/37/08-P&PW(A)]
Unnecessary clarificatory order dt. 3.10.2010 and 14.10.2010 have created difference in fixation of pension between pre 2006 retirees and post 2006 retirees in contravention to the original OM date 01.09.2008. The clarification orders dated 03.10.2010 and 14.10.2010 have confused pension fixation for many cases.
Inspite of clear cut order dt 28.01.2013, the department has not drawn correct pension in the minimum of pay in the pay band corresponding to the old pay scale. After filing of cases with Delhi Cat Principal bench and Delhi high court, correct pension was ordered from 24.09.2012. Instead giving correct pension with effect from 01.01.2006. Hon’ble Supreme Court have dismissed SLPs filed by the Government and thus all pre 2006 retirees are going to get their revised pension with effect from 01.01.2006. This is a great success from all pre 2006 retirees.

my pension amount is very less. I retired on 28-2-2005. my pay band as shown ppo is 4600/ but calculated on 4200 pay band.
