      Subject: Dispatch of PRAN Cards directly to the subscribers under NPS-lite/Swavalamban 

Earlier PRAN Cards of the subscribers under NPS-Ute/Swavalamban were dispatched by CRA- NSDL E-Governance Limited to NLOO/NLAO and delivered through their respective Aggregators (NLCC). This involved redispatch of the PRAN card by the NLOO/NLAO to the NLCC and then their delivery by the NLCC to the subscribers which involved extra postage, cost and time.

With a view to further streamline the process, it has now been decided that PRAN cards will be directly dispatched by Central Recordkeeping Agency (CRA) to the subscribers registered under NPS-Lite/Swavalamban at the postal addresses as mentioned In the subscriber registration forms under intimation to the respective Aggregator While filling up the application form for registration under NPS-Lite/Swavalamban, Aggregators would ensure that full postal address of the subscriber is entered in the subscriber registration form along with her/his mobile number, wherever available.

CRA will provide information/MIS to the Aggregators about the PRAN Card dispatch for record and reconciliation. The Aggregators are requested to inform their underlying subscribers.
