ACS No. 56 modifying Appendix IV- List of Major and Minor Heads of Accounts of Indian Railways Code for the Accounts Department PART-I (Insert of Major Head 4016- Capital Outlay on Audit)
ACS No. 56 introduces a new Major Head 4016- Capital Outlay on Audit into the List of Major and Minor Heads of Accounts for Indian Railways. This modification, detailed in RBA No. 13/2024, requires updates to Appendix IV of the Indian Railways Code for the Accounts Department.

Office of CGA has introduced a new Major Head 4016- Capital Outlay on Audit in the List of Major and Minor heads of Accounts (LMMH) for accountal of Capital Expenditure on Audit. Accordingly, the necessary change has been made in Appendix IV of the Indian Railways Code for the Accounts Department- Part-I, (Second Reprint) 1997 as per Advance Correction Slip (ACS) No. 56 enclosed herewith.
Contents of the correction slip may please be circulated suitably.
