Handling of Complaints in the Commission-seeking factual report
The Government of India’s Ministry of Railways has issued a circular to all Zonal Railways and Production Units regarding the handling of complaints in the commission-seeking factual report. The circular includes a copy of the Central Vigilance Commission’s (CVC) letter No. 021/VGL/051 and provides guidelines for submitting factual reports within 21 days of receiving the Board’s letter. The Board will then examine and process the case for submission to the CVC within a stipulated time of 30 days.

Please find enclosed herewith a copy of CVC’s letter’ No.021/VGL/051 (Circular No. 03/04/23) dtd 06.04.2023 on the subject mentioned above. The contents of the letter are self explanatory.
Necessary action as per CVC’s instructions for submission of Factual Report may be taken. Factual report may kindly be sent to Board’s office within 21 days of receipt of Board’s letter, to examine/process the case for submission to a CVC within stipulated time of 30 days.
