Sub: Implementation of Recommendations of 6th CPC – Merger of grades – Revised Classification and mode of filling up of non-gazetted posts – reg.
Ref: Railway Board’s letter No. E(NG)I-2008/PM1/15 dated 31/12/2014.
While highlighting the important issues. outside the agenda, during NFIR’s PNM meeting held with the Railway Board on 10″/11 April 2015, the General Secretary/NF IR mentioned that the validity of the instructions issued by the Railway Board on the subject vide letter dated 31/12/2014 (RBE No. 150/2014) is expiring on 31/12/2015 (item no. (c) on page no. 8 of the minutes). The General Secretary further stated that these instructions need to be extended further at least up to 31/12/2016, pending further discussion, to take care of situations where vacancies arising out of normal wastage and other reasons up to one year are required to be counted for formation of panels of Group ‘C’ staff of various categories.
NFIR urges the Railway Board to issue immediate instructions accordingly, duly endorsing copy to the Federation.
