Computer Based Test (CBT) of Appendix-III (IREM) Examination
The Railway Board issued a corrigendum (Corrigendum No.3) regarding the Computer Based Test (CBT) of the Appendix-III (IREM) Examination. This corrigendum modifies Para 2.2 of the previous letter, adjusting the qualifying marks for individual papers and aggregate scores. The revised qualifying marks are set at 40% for individual papers (30% for SC/ST/PwBD), with an aggregate requirement of 45% in the three objective papers (35% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Please refer to Board’s letter of even number dated 24.02.2024 along with Annexure on the above subject.
Para 2.2 may be modified and are as under:
The qualifying marks in the individual paper (both objective and subjective) will be 40% (for SC/ST/PwBD it will be 30%). Candidates should obtain an aggregate of 45% in the three objective papers (for SC/ST/PwBD category it will be 35%). Guidelines for persons with benchmark disabilities should be follow as per Board’s letter No.E(NG)I/2022/PM4/9 dated 09.12.2022 and policy guidelines issued by Establishment Directorate on this subject from time to time.
Para 3 of Board’s letter of even number dated 20.02.2024 may be read as Para 3.1.
