Sub:- Per Capita Charges for providing medical facilities to certain beneficiaries in Railway Hospitals/Dispensaries.

In terms of para 610(3) of IRMM-2000, medical attendance and treatment facilities are available to the staff and the members of their families of the cooperative credit Societies and Banks on per capita charge basis. Similarly, as per para 610(5) of IRMM – 2000, indoor medical facilities to the family members of quasi-Railway organization, as mentioned in paara 610(1) of IRMM-2000, are available on payment of per capita charge basis.
The per capita charge is calculated on the basis of total expenditure on medical services (excluding health services) incurred on Railway employees in india during the previous financial year.
Accordingly, the per capita charge of the financial year 2018-19 is Rs.14837/- p.a.
This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Railway Board.
