Revision of Office Expenditure Ceilings for Training Institutes

Ceilings in respect of Office Expenditure on Hospitality for Training Institutes

Railway Board of the Government of India, Ministry of Railways, issued RBE No. 100/2023 on 24.08.2023, addressing a revision in the ceilings for office expenditure on hospitality for training institutes. This revision clarified that the unit of expenditure ceiling, as mentioned in a previous letter (RBE No. 73/2018), is %/month. While this change applies to the expenditure table, all other aspects of the previous letter remain unchanged. The revision was made in consultation with the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways, and recipients are requested to acknowledge receipt of this communication.

With reference to Board’s letter no. E(MPP)2012/3/28 dated 25.05.2018 (RBE No. 73/2018), following has been clarified:

The unit of expenditure ceiling in column 3 of Board’s letter No. E(MPP)/2012/3/28 dated 25.05.2018 (RBE No. 73/2018) is %/month. Accordingly, the following table may be replaced:
