Enhancing Efficiency in Railway Zone and Division Identification
In a communication dated August 18, 2023, from the Government of India’s Ministry of Railways (रेल मंत्रालय), specifically the Railway Board (रेलवे बोर्ड), numbered as 2023/E&R/1(7)/1, addressed to the General Managers of all Zonal Railways & Production Units (PUs), a subject regarding the “Standardized Alphabetical Codes for Zones & Divisions – Addendum” was discussed. This communication referred to the Board’s earlier letter dated July 17, 2023, and emphasized the inclusion of a standardized alphabetical code for Nepal Railways into the appropriate list at a designated serial number.
