7th CPC Recommendations Highlight Para:
11.3.11 With the same entry level qualifications, Research Assistants of Central Drugs Laboratory, Kolkata and Natural Centre for Disease Control, Delhi are in GP 4600 and GP 4200 respectively. Taking note of this, the Commission recommends GP 4200 for Research Assistant of Pharmacopoeia Laboratory for Indian Medicine.

I am a pre-1996 civil pensioner (retd,Under Secretary,Min.of H&FW). My pension was revised by multiplying my pension by 2.57 as per 7th CPC but it is below even 50% of starting pay i.e Rs. .67700 as per paymatrix. applicable to grade pay of Rs 6600. I was U.S..on regular basis from 8th Dec.1986 till date of superannuation i.e.31 August 1993.i.e.entitled to 6 increments.

GOI has notified CCS-RP Rules 2016 under GSR 721(E) dated 25-7-2016, wherein under Rule 7-B (i), it is mentioned that the revised pay would be fixed for doctors by adding Dearness Allowance on the pre-revised Non-Practicing Allowance admissible as on 1st day of January, 2006 to the amount arrived after multiplying the present basic pay by 2.57. It is not clarified what is the basis of taking DA on NPA of 2006 on one side and which amount would be taken into consideration in this fixation if the doctor was not in the service as he joined after 2006.
