7th Pay Commission Pension Calculation for Notification with illustration
For existing Pensioners, who have retired before 01.01.2016, the revised pension/family pension with effect from 01.01.2016 shall be determined by multiplying the pension/family pension, as had been fixed at the time of implementation of 6th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations, by 2.57. The amount of revised pension/Family pension so arrived at shall be rounded off to next higher rupee.

i cannot understand the calculation of 7th cpc plz help me to understand new policy of 7th cpc.

1. Will D.A. @123% that was given besides basic Pension till now be admissble to the Pension fixed by 6th Pay Commission multipled by 2..57 now?
2. Is Additional Pension of 20% of Basic Pension be available on
the Revised Basic Pension now being worked out?

The notification lacks clarity. The pension worked out by multification of 2.57 can’t be lower than the minimum pension of 50% of lowest pay of paysclale of post held by government servant at the time of retirement. This issue needs to be addressed by issue of amendment I am sure there may be many such cases as in my case, there is substantial difference due to lack of clarity on payment of minimum pension
