OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Grant of Fixed Traveling Allowance / open TA to Patwaries and Kanungos.
The matter regarding grant of Fixed Travelling Allowance to Patwaries of the Revenue Department (Mohal) was engaging the attention of the Government for some time past. After careful consideration of the matter and in continuation of this department’s OM of even number dated 9th April, 2013, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to order that Patwaries of the Revenue Department (Mohal) will be entitled to Fixed Travelling Allowance @ Rs. 150/- p.m. for performing journeys within their Patwar circle and open TA for travelling beyond their Patwar circle for official purpose. Similarly, Kanungos will continue to get existing rate of Fixed Travelling Allowance @ Rs. 400/-p.m. to travel within their Kanungo circle and will be allowed open Travelling Allowance for travelling beyond their circle for official purpose.
2. The letter issued by Revenue Department on 08-08-2014 shall be deemed to have been modified to the extent that the decision No. 1 contained therein shall stand deleted.
3. These orders shall be applicable w.e.f. 1.4.2015
