CIRCULAR
In continuation to the Department’s Circular No. GOS/1(32)/Bud/Fin/22 dated 28.10.2014, the Governor is pleased to enhance the rate of Dearness Allowance to the State Government Employees and Dearness Relief to the State Government Pensioners from the existing rate of 107% to 113% w.e.f. 01.01.2015.
The revised rate would also be applicable to the All India Service Officers and Central Government Employees working under the Government of Sikkim on deputation.
The Dearness Allowance at the above rate will also be admissible to the employees appointed on contract basis and work-charged establishment drawing revised pay in the regular scales of pay of the State Government.
The payment on account of Dearness Allowance/Relief involving fraction of 50 paisa and above may be rounded off to the next higher rupee and fraction of less than 50 paisa may be ignored.
