Dated, Chandigarh the 07th January, 2015

 Subject: Date of next increment in the revised pay structure under Rule 10 of Haryana Civil Services (Revised: Pay) Rules, 2008 and under rule 20 of Haryana Civil  Services (Assured Career Progression) Rules, 2008.

 I am directed to draw your attention on the FD’s order: No. 6/84/2010-4PR(FD) dated, Chandigarh the 16-04-2012, on the subject cited above. In continuation of above referred order and in exercise of the powers vested under Rule 17 and Rule 19 of Haryana Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2008 and Rule 26 and Rule 28 of the Haryana Civil Services (ACP) Rules, 2008 and all other powers enabling the Government so to do, the Government is pleased to decide that in relaxation of stipulation under Rule 10 of Haryana Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2008 and under Rule 20 of Haryana Civil Services (Assured Career Progression) Rules, 2008, with respect to those employees who joined the Government service on or after 01-01-2006, as under:-

  1. The employees who join on 1st January to 30th  June will get the proportionate increment on the 1st  July of the same year which shall be calculated on the basis of completed number of months i.e. the whole amount of increment shall be calculated and multiply by the completed number of months and divided by twelve. The resultant figure shall be rounded off to the next multiple of Rs.10/- and added to the pay in pay band of the employee. An employee who joins from 1st to 15th of any month shall be considered as full month and employee join from 16th to end of month shall be ignored.
  1. The employees who join on 1st July to 31st  December will get the proportionate increment on the 1st July of the next year, which shall be calculated on the basis of completed number of months i.e. the whole amount of increment shall be calculated and multiply by the completed number of months and divided by twelve. The resultant figure shall be rounded off to the next multiple of Rs.10/- and added to the pay in pay band of the employee. An employee who joins from 1st to 15th of any month shall be considered as full month and employee join from 16th to end of month shall be ignored.

Example (I):-

 Mr. ‘X’ joins on 4 January, 2008 in the PB-1 with grade pay of Rs.2400/- drawing pay of Rs.9840(7440+2400) amount of increment shall be as under: –

(i)  Completed number of months as on 1st  July 2008 = 6

(ii) Total amount of increment = 9840*3/100=295.20

(iii) Proportionate amount = 295.20*6/12=143.60

(iv)  Rounded of amount = Rs.150/-

(v) The amount of Rs.150/- shall be added to his existing pay

i.e. Rs.7440+150=7590+2400 GP

 Therefore, Mr. ‘X’ will draw Rs.9990(7590+2400) on 1st  July 2008.

 Example (II):-

 Mr. ‘Y’ joins on 18th  October, 2008 in the PB-1 with grade pay of Rs.2400/- drawing pay of Rs. 9840(7440+2400) amount of increment shall be as under: –

 (i)  Completed number of months as on 1st  July 2009 = 8

(ii) Total amount of increment = 9840*3/100=295.20

(iii) Proportionate amount = 295.20*8/12=196.80

(iv)  Rounded of amount = Rs.200/-

(v) The amount of Rs.200/- shall be added to his existing pay

i.e. Rs.7440+200=7640+2400 GP

 Therefore, Mr. ‘Y’ will draw Rs.10040 (7640+2400) on 1st  July 2009.

    I have joined as an Auction Recorder in Haryana State Agri. Marketing Board, Panchkula on dated 12/09/2008 in the scale 5200-20200+1900GP. I have completed 8 years of regular satisfactory Service on dated 11/09/2016. My existing pay is 7740+1900=9640 on dated 01/07/2016. Please fix my pay after Ist ACP with increment. Thanks

    If an employee havec got increment on completion of six month service weather recovery is to b made ?
