Subject: Clarification regarding Interim Relief.
Sir,
I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to say that clarification is being sought by various departments for grant of Interim Relief to the re-employed pensioners. The Interim relief has been granted @5% of basic pa (pay in the pay Band + Grade Pay) to the regular employees of the State Government and pensioners w.e.f. 01-08-2016 vide O.M. No. Fin(PR)B(7)-1/2016 dated 2nd August, 2016 and Fin(Pen)B(10)-6m98-III dated 2nd August, 2016. Therefore, Interim relief will not be admissible to the re-employed pensioners on the pay drawn by them. However, it will be admissible on pension.
These instruction may be brought to the notice of all concerned.
