Subject:- Ex-gratia grants for families of the employees of Rogi Kalyan Samities who die while in service.
Sir,
I am directed to the refer to the subject noted above and to say that the matter with regard to grant of ex-gratia to the families of deceased employees of Rogi Kalyan Samities was under consideration in this department. It has been decided by the Government that the family of a RKS employee who die while working under Rogi Kalyan Smiti will be eligible for ex-gratia grant with immediate effect. The ex-gratia grant will be given four times of the minimum of the pay band plus grade pay subject to a minimum of Rs. 20,000/- and a maximum of Rs.75,000/- and expenditure on this account will be borne be the respective Rogi Kalyan Smiti.
The ex-gratia grant will be payable to the members of the family of RKS employees in the following order:-
i) Wife/Husband
ii) Dependent Sons/Daughters
iii) Dependent Father
iv) Dependent Mother
v) Dependent Brother/Sister.
These instructions may be brought to the notice of all concerned under your administrative control for strict compliance.
