CIRCULAR
In continuation to the Department’s Circular No.GOS/1(32)/Bud/Fin/18/46 dated 07/06/2018 the Governor is pleased to enhance the rate of Dearness Allowance to the State Government Employees and Dearness Relief to the State Government Pensioners from the existing rate of 142% to 148% w.e.f. 01.07.2018.
However, consequent upon revision of pay and allowances as per the decision taken by the Government based on the recommendation of the Pay Committee and in continuation to Departments Circular No. GOS/1(32)/Bud/Fin/18/48 dated 15/09/2018, Dearness Allowance to the State Government Employees and Dearness Relief to State Government Pensioners drawing pay in the revised basic pay shall be enhanced from existing 7% to 9% from 01.07.2018.
The Dearness Allowance at the above rate will also be admissible to the employees appointed on contract basis and work-charged establishment drawing pay in the regular scales of pay of the State Government.
Accordingly, the rate of DA admissible to the All India Service Officers who continue to draw their pay in the pre-revised pay band/grade pay as per the 6th CPC recommendation shall be enhanced from the existing 142% to 148% w.e.f 01.07.2018.
However, the Dearness Allowance of All India Service Officers drawing pay in the revised basic pay as per recommendation of the Seventh Central Pay Commission shall be enhanced from existing 7% to 9% from 01.07.2018.
The payment on account of Dearness Allowance/Relief involving fraction of 50 paisa and above may be rounded off to the next higher rupee and fraction of less than 50 paisa may be ignored
