Subject:- Simplification of of Payment of Pension Procedure- Payment on the basis of Digital Life Certificate.
Sir/Madam,
The Government has approved the implementation of Aadhaar Enabled Jeevan Pramaan Patra System for State Government Pensioners regarding simplification of payment of pension procedure payments on the basis of Digital Life Certificate. Before implementation of Jeevan Pramaan Patra (JPP), a notification/ Amendment is required under Rule 4.106 of the subsidiary Treasuries Rules, regarding submission of Life Certificate for payment to the Haryana Government Pensioners.
2. The following shall be added to Rule 4.106 of the Subsidiary Treasuries Rules.
“A life certificate issued online by a Government Agency as a result of Aadhar Biometric Authentication will also be accepted as a valid certificate. This document may be accessed through a website (www.jeevanpramaan.gov.in) by the Treasury/Sub-Treasury without insisting either on personal appearance of the pensioner of Life Certificate by the competent authority referred above”.
