MEMORANDUM
Subject:- Implementation of revised rate of House Rent Allowance to Central Government Employees w.e.f. 01-07-2021.
The undersigned is directed to revise the rate of House Rent Allowance(HRA) w.e.f. 01-07-2017 as per office memo of Ministry of Finance , Government of India vide No.2/5/2017-E.II(B) dated 7th July 2017 . The revised HRA shall be as under :-

| Z | 8% | 9% |
Since , the rate of Dearness Allowance(DA) to All India Services Officers has crossed 25% w.e.f. 01-07-2021 , the All India Services Officers will also be entitled to get HRA at the above revised rate w.e.f.01-07-2021 . Further revision to 30%, 20% and 10% for X, Y and Z category of cities respectively will automatically take place as and when DA crosses to 50% of Basic Pay.
